Halcyon understands the need for true quality dive gear as no other manufacturer possibly can. How many companies can say that their founders hold more than half a dozen world diving records, including the longest cave diving penetration in the world - more than three miles (18,000 feet) at 300 feet? How many companies not only sponsor international exploration projects, but consistently encourage their staff to participate in them? This year alone we are preparing educational, wreck, cave and excavation projects to Japan, Philippines, Australia, Red Sea, Singapore, Italy, and Turkey. In addition to serving as a primary sponsor of the Britannic 99 expedition, Halcyon staff members from design, manufacturing, and marketing were making the dives and serving as support. We donate significant resources to scientific and historical research projects because we believe that everyone benefits from a greater understanding of the delicate balance in the underwater world.
