Halcyon is proud to announce the third generation of the Pioneer single-tank Multi-function Compensator to be released since the Pioneer’s introduction in 1996.

The Pioneer 30 has been upgraded with ruggedized materials and a shape more in line with the popular Halcyon Eclipse wing. While the Pioneer 30’s sleek, black, double-coat nylon construction increases its ability to withstand the harsh test requirements of CE testing, the real benefit will be apparent to any diver looking for a lightweight and streamlined wing that can stand up to years of diving. The wing's 30 lbs. (13.6 kg) of lift accommodates a wide profile of popular tank and exposure suit combinations.

Pioneer 30 divers will have the same options as Eclipse divers when it comes to selecting a balance of weighting options for their MC Systems. The Pioneer 30 retires the integrated STA found in the previous Pioneer wings in favour of industry-standard slots that will allow the use of either Halcyon’s standard Low-Profile or

or Convertible Single Tank Adapter. Of course, the sleek new Pioneer design is fully modular with all Halcyon MC accessories, from the Active Control Ballast 12 and 20 Systems to our Trim Weights Pockets and MC Storage Pak. Complete Pioneer 30 MC Systems are available with stainless or aluminium backplates and Low Profile or Convertible STA.

Halcyon Pioneer 30 MC Systems, as well as individual wings, come outfitted with a non-serviceable OEM power inflator. The Halcyon Precision Inflator is available as an option for divers seeking a low-speed, user-serviceable inflator for their buoyancy compensator. New for 2006, the Halcyon Precision inflator utilizes nickel-plated brass valve components to provide for longer service intervals in marine environments.
