Our Octogrip Super Cam buckle system securely holds the 14cf bottle to your single or double tank rig by attaching to a tank. Halcyon’s smaller 6cf bottle mounting straps allows open water divers to secure a smaller inflation bottle directly to their Halcyon backplate. Our compact 1st stage Over Pressure Relief Valve provides an added measure of safety to your dry suit inflation kit.

The DIR Stage Bottle Kit is the model of efficiency and function. Proper rigging and marking of safety, stage, and decompression gas cylinders is a hallmark of the DIR philosophy. Our kit includes all you need to correctly set up your auxiliary cylinders for technical or overhead diving. The Kit is the same setup used for every stage, safety, and decompression gas cylinder utilized in the world record exploration of the caves of the Woodville Karst Plain.

Halcyons DIR Hose Kit provides a diver with the hoses necessary to complete a single or double tank rig or stage bottle, including the primary, secondary, and SPG hoses in the correct lengths for each.

Large, bulky knives are heavy and increase the risk of diver entanglement, particularly when attached to a diver's leg. Knives should be able to operate as tools and yet be small enough to stow out of the way until needed. The Halcyon titanium knife has line cutter and serrated edge along one side of the three-inch blade, with a total length of six inches. For convenient and proper storage of your knife, Halcyon offers a custom designed knife pocket. This heavy nylon pouch is designed for mounting on the Halcyon Secure Harness waist strap where it severely limits the risk of entanglement from fishing line, kelp, or navigational guidelines.

Halcyon's manifolds and single tank valves incorporate all of the truly essential elements of valve design into one package. The rugged 300 BAR DIN isolator manifold features shock absorbing ribbed rubber hand wheels with stainless steel inserts and a true double barrel O-ring isolator seal.

40.040.002 - Streamline Balanced P-Valve

Halcyon DIR Dive Systems is pleased to announce the release of the next generation of our diver’s P-Valve. The P-Valve’s design is the culmination of two years of development, drawing on the practical needs of exploration divers from around the globe. As an accessory that facilitates overboard discharge of urine through a dry or wet suit during an extended dive, the P-Valve is an essential tool for divers who are properly hydrated prior to their diving.

The new design surpasses the performance of the original Halcyon Balanced and Unbalanced P-Valves in several respects. The initial focus of the new design is on enhanced streamlining, both inside and outside the exposure suit. Not only does the new valve cap allow for increased ease of operation, even with dry gloves, it allows for easier maintenance access. An optional lock-down screw (provided with the valve) can be used in the valve to prevent removal of the external cap. The simplified hose assembly inside of the suit removes the check-valve assembly of the older Balanced design– increasing the ease of donning and removing your drysuit with the valve in place.

The Halcyon unbalanced valve is made of the same high-quality components as the balanced valve, but does not include the balance chamber. the unbalanced valve's low profile makes this unit ideal for wetsuit use.

 

Pockets and Divers Notebooks

Halcyon Pockets add a needed level of utility to your wet or dry suit. Preferred DIR placement calls for the use of a bellowed pocket on the left thigh, with plenty of room for a spare mask, double enders, and a few Defender spools.

The Halcyon Pocket is available for use with dry and wet suits. Preferred DIR placement calls for the use of the bellowed zipper pocket on the left thigh, with plenty of room for a spare mask, bolt snaps, and a few Defender jump and safety spools. The flat right pocket has a Velcro closure and is just the right size for holding Wet Notes and decompression tables.

40.030.002 - Large Exploration Pocket

The Exploration Bellows Pocket is an exam­ple of how Halcyon draws upon real-world research and development. Casey McKinlay wanted more room in the bellows pocket for all of the tools required during the ex­traordinary dives at Chip's Hole. After sever­al months of tweaking designs, we realized that a larger bellows pocket would appeal to a larger audience. Thus we are pleased to introduce the Exploration bellows pocket. It provides eighteen cubic inches more storage than the standard bellows pocket, a tough top zipper, bungee loops in both the outer and inner compartments, and room for all of the tools and gear to make a 20 hour dive possible.

The flat pocket is to be mounted on the right thigh and is just the proper size for holding survey notes and decompression tables. Both are available from Halcyon to be mounted on your suit with simple tools and adhesives.

Tek-Pocket Shorts
 

Add Pockets to your Drysuit, Wetsuit or use as a Swimsuit! Tek-Pocket Shorts come with pre-installed pockets stitched to the shorts. They will not feel like glued pockets, as the pocket fit is flexible, not stiff. Pockets are height adjusted to be within reach of the diver on the upper thigh. No more struggling to reach into the BCD pocket at an awkward angle. Tek-Shorts Pockets are made of perforated neoprene and are uniquely designed to be both a flat and a bellows pocket. Stitched Velcro tabs on each pocket allow the pocket to lay flat when not expanded. Secure 2" Velcro strip on the pocket flap holds contents securely inside the pocket. 2 side grommet attachment points at the top of the pocket for attachment of shock cord loops for convenient access to pocket contents. Extra wide pocket mouth for easy access even in thick cold water gloves!

Even the most casual diver will appreciate the advantages of an underwater notebook over a plastic slate. Photographers have more room to make notes about locations and exposure settings and wreck divers have more room for details about their discoveries.
Sized to fit in most BC or suit pockets, the Halcyon Diver's Notebook provides you with easy access to notes, tables and accessories in a cover made from the same ballistic nylon used in Halcyon's Eclipse and Explorer wings.
The Diver's Notebook includes a four-ring binder with replaceable underwater paper, clear pockets for both a compass and tables, or fish id slates, a Velcro bookmark and elastic pencil holders.
