Halcyons Explorer double tank wings are available in 40, 55 and 70 lbs lift capacities to accommodate a wide range of tank sizes, exposure protection, and equipment requirements. Features

  • 1680-denier ballistic nylon outer shell for increased abrasion resistance;

  • Heavy duty zipper with a three inch wide barrier to prevent chafe on the inner bladder;

  • "Trapdoor" drainage systems allows water to drain rapidly from the outer cover to reduce excess weight and diver effort reboarding the dive boat;

  • Strain relief on corrugated hose and precision location of elbow connection reduce stress on this vital area;

  • 420-denier nylon bladder maximises durability with puncture resistance and greater flexibility.

The 40 lbs Explorer wing provides a minimalist approach to buoyancy control where double aluminium 80s and a wetsuit are the rig of choice. The widely popular55 lbs Explorer wing is ideally suited for situations requiring additional lift, such as when diving with heavy double steel tanks. The 70 lbs Explorer wing is designed specifically for heavier steel tanks and multiple stages.
